Registered Veterinary Technician
I was born and raised in northern California and began volunteering at our local animal shelter with my sister at the age of 10. I moved to San Luis Obispo County in 2000 where I continued to pursue my education and love of working with animals. I received my Registered Veterinary Technician license in 2010 and have since worked in general practice, emergency medicine, high volume spay/neuter clinics and shelter medicine. In my down time I enjoy photography, camping, hiking and exploring the beautiful central coast with my husband, two sons and our dog Ripley.

Brooke grew up in northern California surrounded by animals such as cats, rabbits, sheep, and horses. She obtained her bachelor’s of science degree in animal science from UC Davis in 2012. She enjoyed interning at the UC Davis Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital and participating in equine-based research projects while living in Davis. She moved to the central coast in 2013, and has worked in the veterinary field ever since. After years of working as a kennel and veterinary assistant, she obtained her RVT license at the end of 2020. Outside of work, she enjoys sewing, painting, and hiking the central coast with her husband. She has two pets: a cat named Professor and a rabbit named Chip.
Veterinary Technician
I grew up in the Central Valley in a small town called Glenville. As a child I always knew I wanted to work helping animals. I was part of the county 4-H for 9 years showing pigs. I loved riding horses with my grandma and taming feral cats on the ranch as a kid. I now live in San Luis Obispo with my sister Chelsea. We have three cats (Loafie, Bagheera and our most recent HART adoptee Fancy) and one dog, Leeloo, a boxer/pit mix. We spend most of our time in nature exploring with Leeloo. My interest in working in a veterinary office started as a kennel assistant, from there I learned how to help during treatments, etc. I couldn't be happier to be part of the Cambria Vet Clinic team!

I am a born and raised Cambria local! I graduated from Coast Union High School in June 2019 and am currently attending Cuesta College full time in pursuit of a nursing degree. My love for animals and interest in medicine began at Coast Union where I completed a veterinary science class. It was then that I knew I wanted to become a veterinary technician. In my spare time I like to crochet, knit, and embroider. I love being a part of the team here at Cambria Vet Clinic!

Growing up on the Central Coast for most of my life I love to do everything in this area: hiking with my dog, wine tasting, surfing, paddle boarding, photography and riding horses. Animals have always been a huge part of my life since I was a kid and I have always had one by my side. Senior pets also hold a special place in my heart, and I try to always have one as part of the family. Currently, I have two rescue dogs: Addison, a border collie mix, and Lacy, a terrier mix. I have been working in the veterinary world for over eight years and plan on continuing in the field.

I have felt very connected with animals for as long as I can remember. So, helping them live their best life is a passion of mine. I started working in veterinary hospitals in 2002 then went to Cal Poly in SLO from 2003-2007 and received a bachelor’s degree in Horticulture/Landscape Design. I originally wanted to design enriching habits for animals in enclosures such as zoos and wildlife rehab centers. Well, the directions changed and instead I spent more time in animal hospitals from working in the front office to hands on with pets. I spent many years helping pets with the use of laser therapy, and I am also a certified small animal massage therapist. Believe it or not I am also a state certified human massage therapist. I love to help guide and support pet owners the best I can. I have worked at animal hospitals in various cities in California from Auburn, Morro Bay, Santa Cruz, San Mateo, SLO, and now Cambria. When I am not working, I love to hike, roller skate, bake, sing in a choir, paint, as well as learn new things. I am so happy I get to be a part of the Cambria Vet Clinic family.

I was born in rural Ohio, then moved to Southern California. I have also lived in Arizona, Oregon, and now have settled in Atascadero! I'm a life-long animal lover and have been working in the veterinary field since 2014. My furry family currently consists of a mutt named Sunny, Chavo the Chiweenie, and Buddha the very not-zen cat, but I'm hoping to add goat & chicken friends soon! When I'm not working at the wonderful CVC, I'm usually gardening, doing some kind of art or craft, or exploring the Central Coast with my husband and friends!

Growing up, I lived all over the country due to my dad's career with the military, but always
considered California home. I have always had a passion for animals, and had several pets
ranging from Betta fish, hermit crabs, cats, dogs, a parakeet, and a beloved pony named Spats.
I came back to California in 2014, and I have been here ever since! I bought my first home in early
2019, and got married in October of 2020. I have worked in customer service for several years,
working my way up to becoming one of the youngest store managers at a locally owned grocery
store while attending school. I got my associates degree at Cuesta in 2016, but decided to
change my path at the very end, and here I am! When I am not at the hospital, my free time is
spent with my family, friends, my four cats (Cas, Crookshanks, Orion, Bagheera), and two dogs,
Taquito and Roswell.
